Every Sohum product comes with a limited period warranty and Customer Support. We value the trust placed in us by our customers and their purchase decision and our team strives to provide customer support and after sales service to ensure that the promised value is delivered to our customers. To deliver this, we have a dedicated call center in Pune. In order to report any problem that is faced with a product, the customer can do any of the following.

1) Call our Call Center (Mon-Sat 10 am to 6 pm)

  • After understanding your problem, the executive will register your complaint and generate the complaint id for you.
  • There are 2 levels of service - home service and Carry-in service - where you have to carry the product to the nearest authorized Sohum Service Center. Or where you purchased the product
  • For Home Service product - A representative from the nearest authorized center will visit you to check your product and advise you accordingly.
  • In case repairs are required, the representative will give you an estimate of time and price (if not covered by warranty).
  • After resolving your issue, the representative will close your complaint on our central system.

Register an Online Complaint

You can also register a complaint by submitting the complaint online. This complaint will be handled in the same manner as a call to the call centre is handled as mentioned above. On successful submission, you will receive an email with the confirmation and you will shortly receive a follow-up call from our call centre. The calling executive will then provide a solution to your problem and guide you.

  • One of our service assistants or the authorized representative will attend to you and understand your problem.
  • If there is a problem with the method of operation, you will be shown the correct method of operation at that moment.
  • In case there is a problem with the product, the representative will fill out a detailed form with a report of your issue, and report it at our centralized customer service system. You will then be given a complaint id.
  • You will be given an estimate of the time that will be taken to repair your product.
  • If the product is covered under warranty there will be no cost of the repair (for any manufacturing defect), If a problem arises due to mishandling or abuse a cost estimate will be shared and approval taken.
  • Once the product is received from the customer support cell, after repairs, you will be contacted and you may collect the product, after payment if any. Your complaint id will be marked as closed.

                                               RETURNS POLICY

We only accept returns if the item shipped to you is defective or damaged. The item should be returned to us within 2 days from the delivery date in original packaging. The product should be in unused condition. We will send you a new replacement unit as soon as we receive the return package.
Refund if any will be through online payment only. There is no cash refund.

In case of any kind of malfunctioning or defect, you need to contact the toll-free number 020 675000 -00 / 99 and a mechanic will visit you and rectify the product.


When you return your product, just indicate the reason for your return in a short note. Put the item along with the invoice and the note with the order number into a secure package. Affix our address (send only to sender address as seen in the invoice/delivery challan) and send it through a reliable courier and email us the consignment details.
The refund shall be made within 7 days of receiving the product back.

Please note that we will provide a refund/return facility only for products bought from our online store https://www.sohumautogas.com and not for orders from physical stores or other online stores
In case of wrong product ordering (e.g 2Burner Stove instead of 3 burner Stove), you can place a new order, for a different product but from the same category, of equal or higher selling price. Send back the wrongly ordered product with the following remark "Wrong product ordered. New order no - XXX" Also send us an email with the full details of both the orders along with your bank account IFSC details for transferring payment. We will initiate an online fund transfer for the returned product amount, within 7 working days of receiving the wrong product.
