Pressure indicating device for Commercial Application


In commercial applications its always very important to check the quantity of gas in your LPG cylinder to plan for the replacement or arrange for the heating application when cylinder starts to freeze due to excess gas withdrawal.

Sohum has come up with a solution i.e Pressure Indicating Device (PID), which is a replacement to the adaptors used on LPG cylinders and comes with an exclusive feature of pressure monitoring system.

Installation -
The device is very easy to install and use.
  1. Just fit the PID on the cylinder as we fit the adaptors and connect the hose pipe to the outlet of the PID.
  2. Press the pressure gauge till the needle stabilizes and showand the approximate pressure in the cylinder.
  3. During continuous usage monitor the pressure of the gas on the pressure gauge. If the cylinder starts to become cold (sweating) during excessive flow from burners the needle will come to red zone. Arrange forsafe heating of the cylinder.
  4. If during normal flow usage the needle comes to red zone, this indicates the cylinder is due for replacement soon. Book your cylinder for your continuous uninterrupted usage.
